Objective of the training:
The participants understand the necessity and the usefulness of the statistics and can calculate key figures for location and dispersion. They know the common distributions, their practical meaning and can make corresponding calculations with them. The participants can calculate the probability of events of interest.
Target group:
Employees and executives working on key data analytics to optimize processes and products.

- Introduction and basic concepts of descriptive and closing statistics
- Explanation of probability, constitutional laws
- Statistical key figures with application examples and overview of distributions
- Confidence interval and random scattering area
- Gaussian normal distribution and binomial and poisson distribution with application examples
- Statistical test procedures
- T-tests
- Correlation
- Regression Analysis
- ANOVA procedure
- Practical exercises (vehicles, catapult, funnel, general express, darts, coins)
- Processing real work examples from your company is possible too
